Savannah's Trip to the Dentist

March 9th was Savannah's first trip to the dentist. She did an awesome job!

Her eyes were on the TV above.

I had to put a picture of our beautiful growing boy!

Monkey Joes

Savannah really wanted her birthday party to be a Monkey Joes. Its a indoor jumping place and lots of fun for the kiddies and adults too! The beautiful cake was made my Crystal (friend/cousin). She let me, Savannah, and Austin come to her house the day before the party to watch her make the cake and it was a fantastic experience. Thanks Crystal! She did a wonderful job. The cake got a LOT of compliments.

The below picture is horrible and I dont know why I am putting it up, but my sister and I had a blast too! Later down the road we will laugh about it and all my chins;)

Austin Is All Better!

Finally, Austin is fully recovered. The RSV went away about 2 weeks ago, but he still had a ear infection. He finished his 10 day dosing of Omnicef a few days ago. We went to the Doctor today and he was finally able to get his 4 month immunizations. He has been so sick that we had to put them on hold. He will be 5 months old this weekend, better late than never! ;) His 6 month immunizations will be a bit behind too because the Doctor said that we need to wait at least 6 weeks for his next immunizations.

He is such a BIG boy. He weighed a little over 18lbs. at his 4 month check up and now he is 19.25lbs! He is wanting to be just like his daddy.

Savannah Grace Turns 4!

We celebrated Savannah's birthday last Tuesday on the the 3rd. We started the day with M&M smiley face pancakes and sung her "Happy Birthday". She went off to school and then Corey, Austin, and I brought cupcakes to her class. I MADE the cupcakes, yes MADE them! They were Tinkerbell cupcakes, with funfetti cake mix, white butter cream icing, green sugar crystals and a Tinkerbell ring (I am writing down the description because silly me forgot to take a picture). When school was over we went to McDonald's, so she could play. I wanted her to have as much fun during the day because of course I had school and had a test that night. When we got home she opened her presents: art easel, finger paint, Mary Poppins DVD, Kung Fu Panda DVD, and Wall-E DVD. Corey went a little crazy on the DVDs :) Oh well, anything for his princess. Later that evening I made what Savannah requested for dinner, Shrimp Alfredo with broccoli (she didn't request the broccoli part, but I had to make something healthy ;) ). After I went to school, Savannah and Corey continued to play on the easel, watched Mary Poppins and Wall-E. They had a great evening.

We Had Snow!

Where we live we do not see snow that often, maybe once a year, so we were really excited when the snow came. I really wanted Savannah to enjoy it and we did! It started coming down early afternoon this past Sunday and when I got Austin down for his nap we got ready to go. Savannah had two layers of pants, two warm sweaters, her rain boots, scarf, hat, and mittens on. She was ready. We had a snow ball fight and when it got too cold we went in and enjoyed hot cocoa, popcorn, and a movie. I loved watching it from the inside. ;) All together, I believe we had about a 1.5 - 2 inches. When Corey got home that night they went back out and played in it for a few minutes. I rather stay inside and enjoy it. Its cold! Hopefully, we will get more snow next year, so Austin can enjoy it too.

This picture was so funny, I did like 50 of these shots and I just wanted to do one more. Savannah said she was so cold, so this is her so cold shot :)

Austin's Jumperoo

Austin's Jumperoo used to be Savannah's. When Savannah was a baby I believe we got it out too late because it feels like as soon as we put it together it was too late and we had to put it up. I was looking at a blog who's son is a few weeks younger than Austin and she had her son in his jumping thing. I had a "aha" moment and knew we had to get it down from the attic. Austin LOVES it! I think he might enjoy this toy a lot longer than Savannah did.
